Postpartum Issues We Can Help With

  • Birth Trauma

Even when we plan and prepare, birth is unpredictable. Maybe your birth went nothing like you planned, you didn’t feel in control, you had to get an emergency cesarean, you didn’t get the support you needed, you didn’t get that “golden hour” with your baby, or you feel like your body let you down. Birth can be traumatic & this can have lasting effects.

You deserve a space to process your birth & to begin to heal from the trauma. You experience is valid and it so deeply matters. You’re not alone.

  • Postpartum Anxiety & Depression

Intrusive thoughts, worry, difficulty sleeping when you finally get a window to sleep, feeling blue, not feeling connected to your baby, struggling to accept help, feeling overwhelmed by the idea of getting out of the house…these are some signs you may be experiencing postpartum anxiety or depression.

You don’t have to suffer through it or just wait for it to pass. It’s possible to feel better & you deserve it.

  • Identity Shifts & Parenting

Becoming a parent is a huge shift! Your life becomes centered around this tiny human that is a part of you. Learning how to parent in a way that aligns with your values can be overwhelming, especially if it brings up what you didn’t get as a child. It may feel hard to show up the way you want when you’re exhausted, over-stimulated, and overwhelmed.

With support, you can find your identity as a parent & feel confident in this new role.

  • Postpartum Sexuality

Sexuality may be the last thing on your mind postpartum. Or maybe you’re struggling with a shift in desire, sexual pain after birth, feeling touched out, and having a lack of time & energy to tend to your sexuality. You may be experiencing difficulty in your sexual relationship with your partner.

You deserve whatever connection to your sexuality feels good for you. You deserve to experience pleasure in your body & a connection to this part of yourself.
